Hi, and thanks for stopping by to see us! Buick has released her first single from her upcoming album Singer. The track is called "Going Home", and pays tribute to her hometown and father. Buick just finished a radio tour through the South, so stay tuned for live performance and interview recordings! Singer is slated to be released in February, 2008, as a split release between Trimming The Shield Records (Brooklyn, NY), and IGO Records (Nashville, TN). It was a long time in the making, spanning almost 15 months from beginning to end. Buick acted as co-producer with engineer Mario Quintero. Most of the recording was done at Quintero's studio, Black Box, in San Diego, CA. Additional tracking was done at Camp Street Studios in Cambridge, MA, Atomic Studios in Brooklyn, NY, Mission Sound in Brooklyn, NY and Mirror Image in NYC. Mario mixed the record, and passed the mastering on to Doug Sax and Sangwook Nam at The Mastering Lab in Ojai, CA. We are all very excited to finally have the record out in the world soon… We hope you like it as much as we do! |
